Mastery of Heart and Mind: Youth Mental Health e-conference

This Youth Mental Health e-Conference, held on 08 October 2021, is organised by Ngee Ann Polytechnic with our partner The Social Quotient, and sponsored by National Council of Social Service. The COVID-19 pandemic understandably has resulted in a rise in mental health needs, and has sparked new concerns and conversations about students’ well-being. This conference, held in conjunction with World Mental Health Day on 10 October, hopes to raise awareness on the importance of mental health and empower participants with a deeper understanding of fostering early help-seeking behaviours.
Industry experts provided insights on the mental health scene in Singapore and discuss how to build mental health resiliency and connection amongst youths. The tracks will cover information on improving youth mental health through peer support, supporting mental well-being of students with special needs, and self-harm and suicide prevention.
